Artistic Philosophy

      Seeking Truth through Art

  • The Artistic Philosophy Vision

It is our goal to bring together the independent and isolated disciplines within the philosophical and artistic communities.

While they may seem to be entirely separate vocations, at the heart, they have the same ambition, the search for truth.

He had the vision for Artistic Philosophy as merging of his two passions, art and philosophy.  While they may seem like divergent area’s of study, in reality they both come down to the pursuit or expression of truth and knowledge.   SultaZ strives to unite the art and philosophy communities under a common umbrella of cohesive knowledge sharing and mutual respect.

About Artistic Philosophy

What is art?  This is a question only you can answer.  What is art to one person is garbage to someone else.

I believe that art is the answer to a philosophical question.  What that question is, is one asked by the philosopher or artist.  Yes that is correct, I believe that artist are philosophers.  They ask a philosophical question such as; What is life? What is death? What is love? What if everything was black except for one, never-ending red line?  They then seek to answer that question, not though words but through imagery.

Philosopher’s come in all professions; scientist, artist, teachers, etc.

Philosophy comes from the Greek word, philosophia, which means “the love of wisdom”.  And wisdom means literally, “the knowledge of what is true and right”.  Of course being human, what is true or right is colored by our own personal belief system.  And that, my dear friends, is what makes being a human so wonderful.
